Worn: deep lapis blue with warm gold against it — a bracelet that sits close to the wrist and reads as one clean band of colour rather than a busy stack.
The centre bead is cloisonné: fine gold-tone wire bent by hand into a bloom motif on a copper base, each cell filled with enamel and fired. Up close you can see the wire line that draws the flower — a real hand-drawn line, not printed. At 10mm it holds its own beside the 8mm lapis beads that alternate around it, eleven of each. The same bloom runs through every piece, so the bracelet is recognisable at a glance.
Specs: 8mm natural lapis lazuli · 10mm cloisonné beads · 22 beads, alternating all the way round · 17cm (6.7in) full length, measured flat and unstretched — not the inner circumference · elastic cord, no clasp · fits wrists up to 17cm.
Shipping: ready to send in 1–3 business days · US delivery 7–14 business days.
Lapis lazuli was ground into ultramarine for centuries — the blue of old master paintings came out of this stone, and the gold flecks in it are natural pyrite, not a finish.
